Installation of EViRO 3d gypsum  panels

If you have decided to do the installation of EViRO 3d gypsum panels by yourself, then, please, pay attention to the following:

1. 3d gypsum panels should be mounted on a perfectly leveled surface only
2. Unpacked gypsum tilesshouldbe acclimatized at the job site for a minimum of 72 hours
3. To install the panels, you will need the following materials and tools:

• paint brush
• roller
• primer CT 16
• graphite pencil
• Knauf Perlfix gypsum adhesive
• flat steel trowel
• toothed trowel
• plastic or metal flexible putty knives (scrapers)
• sandpaper 60 - 100-grit and 100/120/150/200-grit
• SHEETROCK Super Finish or Bostik putty
• deep-penetration primer
• paint
• spray gun or compressed-air painting gun

INSTALLATION:

1. Clean the wall and apply the CT 16 primer to the leveled surface with a brush or roller.

2. Mark the walls with a graphite pencil.

3. Glue the panels to the wall with Knauf Perlfix gypsum adhesive. It should be applied to the wall with a flat steel trowel and distributed with a toothed trowel.

4. Seal the joints with Knauf Perlfix gypsum adhesive in several steps:

• apply the adhesive using plastic or metal flexible scrapers of different  sizes (big and small)
• work the surface with a 60 - 100-grit sandpaper for primary sanding
• apply SHEETROCK Super Finish or Bostik putty
• use a 100/120/150/200-grit sandpaper for smoothing and finishing the surface.

5. Prime the panels with a deep-penetration primer. This should be done before painting.

6. Cover the 3d panels with several coats of paint depending on its type. At this stage, a spray gun or compressed-air painting gun is required.
